Based on the information that it may be a 4000 ohm coil my catalog shows 
the following:

HG 1002 (coil = pins 7&8; common wiper = 3; NC contacts = 4,5; NO 
contacts = 1,2) This MAY be the closest one to what you need, even if it 
requires a bit of rewiring. It is an octal base as is the original.

The HG 1004 has the same configuration with the following exception: Pin 
6 is connected to the case, probably for grounding (shielding) purposes.
