Dave -
The 75S-3 dial hub setscrew takes a .076" 4-flute Bristol spline wrench, the
KWM-2 should be the same.

Subject: [Boatanchors] KWM-2 help?

All: I am trying to finish reconditioning a KWM-2 that has found its way to
my shack. This appears to have been de-milled (anything with an adjustment
screw misadjusted, driver plate choke broken, plug-in relays replaced with
non-standard stuff).

I'm down to trying to reset the VFO dial to match the alignment, which
requires me to loosen the dial relative to the VFO shaft. The adjustment
screw appears to be similar to a 4-pointed version of a TORX, or (if you can
imagine this) a Phillips-head screwdriver with the point removed, leaving
just the 4 "wings". I'm not familiar with Bristol wrenches; this could be
that but I don't think so...

I looked through the manual for the radio and can't find the type of tool
required to loosen the dial. Can someone suggest what I need to do this?

Thanks to all.
