I liked the point on post mentioned where the asking price includes a
estimation of the units value only to fine that it is misrepresented.
I too offer what I think the unit is worth as if it is broken.
Clearly , in order to get your asking price as a seller , you will need
to demonstrate the item working prior to the sale.
We all live or die by what we learn through life.
