[Boatanchors] Good socket wrench kit?

Hi All,

Could anyone recommend a good socket wrench kit and/or supplier for 
boatanchor work? I've looked through available stuff on eBay and other sites 
but mostly the ones I've turned up are for metric for automotive use and 
often contain loads of those power drill screwdriver attachments and other 
junk. I have in mind a kit of small size sockets up to about 1/2" to 3/4", 
maybe something sold for modellers? I'm mainly interested in using the kit 
for fine work on US-built equipment and so decent extension bars and a good 
ratchet are important. A supplier who ships to the UK would be best.
