Hello All,
I do not think this is really the place to air ebay complaints BUT
in a hope to help someone else out of a jam, here is a true experience.

I found an auction and used the buy it now to win. I used Paypal to
purchase it. Auction done. THEN ebay declares the auction null and void
due to questionable item. Paypal (owned by ebay) then freezes the
sellers account! The seller can't/won't refund my money. Paypal says to
request a refund. Their form requires an auction number. This number is
flagged as an invalid number and the form won't go through. No recourse,
right? Wrong! I used a debit card tied to a separate bank account (used
only for online stuff) I contacted the bank and the girl told me to file
a fraud claim for the card. My bank took the money back from Paypal!
Paypal got really mad at that and suspended my account and showed a
negative balance. After several phone conversations with supervisors at
Paypal, yes, real people! explaining that I had done nothing wrong and
did not deserve this, they reinstated my account. I won! In almost 500
auctions, this is the only true problem I have had! I hope this will
help someone someday! 73

In His service,
