For Sale:

WRL Galaxy 300 ssb tri-band transceiver with PSA 300 Console (power supply), interconnect cable, original Galaxy 300 manual.
This is an 80/40/20 ssb tranaceiver from around 1960 and is the predecessor to the Galaxy III and V transceivers.
PSA 300 is complete and has had it's small paper electrolytic caps replaced with new. Voltages are correct and hum-buzz free. Includes original mechanical 24 hour clock, speaker and interconnect cable. This is a large heavy power supply.
Galaxy 300 transceiver is complete less final tubes (2x6hf5). A few paper electrolytics have been replaced with new caps. Signal generator input shows weak sensitivity but a few stations are copied.  No transmitter testing beyond checking T/R relay. All tuning slugs checked ok for free movement.
Overall, this is a good example of a complete 300. Power supply restoration is complete but I will not be doing the transceiver restoration.
