[Boatanchors] WRL (World Radio Labs) Q-Multiplier?

I use a model DQ by Central Electronics on my HQ 140X.  I bought 
the receiver from the estate of the original owner and it came 
with the Q-multiplier.

It was designed with variable bandwidth and can be used in either 
peak or null mode.  I like the thing and it works very well. 
Actually a Q-multiplier is a very useful item even today.
