[Boatanchors] WRL (World Radio Labs) Q-Multiplier?

I notice that the bandwidth was variable. There was a
modification for the Heath QF-1 "Q" Multiplier that
was in the Hints & Kinks column in QST in either the
late 1950s or early 1960s that changed the "broad"
position to a "variable" position. If I remember
correctly it did not require any additional parts (or
if it did it was like 1 or 2 resistors).
The wiring change moved the control of both the peak
and null functions to the peak potentiometer. The
null potentiometer then controlled the bandwidth.
I made this modification on the QF-1 that I was using
on my original Hallicrafters S-85 and it really worked
quite well. You could really pull the "skirts" in
when things got "tough" when receiving CW. Then you
could "widen" them out for SSB or AM phone.

Doing a "Google" on WRL Q-Multiplier produced the
following information. Apapretnly this was offered as
a WRL "Comet Kit" at 14.95.
