[Boatanchors] Spraypainting radio cabinets

I used a Wagner airless paint gun until a neighbor
threw out a Devilbis compressor, paint gun, and
accessories. He put them out for the trashmen and
then went on vacation. The equipment had been abused
(actually not properly cleaned) and he gave up on it.
About $10 worth of parts and the rig works fine.

As for the Wagner: You need to practice, then
practice some more, to get the settings just right and
the technique "down". But, you can do a pretty good
job with the Wagner gun. The one that I have retailed
for $179.95 new, but Northern Tool & Supply had some
reconditioned ones that they were selling for $89.95.
But, they had a sale and the reconditioned guns were
marked down to $39.95. I couldn't pass that up since,
at the time, I was having to use spray cans and Total
Electronics disappeared.

I do not want to buy a huge spray paining outfit with
tanks and compressors. I was thinking about the Wagner
power painter. Has anyone used one and what were the results.
