Hi Glenn -  I have been using Fed-Ex Ground for 3 years and the Post 
Office for six years. They both do a fine job in my opinion and I have 
shipped several thousand packages thorough both venues to over 40 
countries. Other than a couple of lost overseas packages sent through 
the mail, I have had no problems to speak of. As to the lost packages, I 
have shipped hundred's overseas and I am convinced they were lost in 
their destination countries mail system.

Here is one possibility why your packages are getting trashed
