One thing about ordering from Mouser:  Order by
telephone using their 800 number and not over the
Internet.  I have been told by the Mouser sales staff
that sometimes the Internet orders don't get put into
their system right away.  It can take a day, or more,
at times for them to be processed.

A telephone order is entered into their computer
system as the representative is talking with you on
the telephone.  When you are finished ordering the
order is immediately sent to the shipping department. 


I have placed orders as late as 8:00 PM Central time
and the order is shipped that evening.  UPS picks up
around 11:00 PM every business day.  Since Mouser is
on the south side of Fort Worth and I am on the north
side of Dallas I get my parts the next business day.

Also, I generally order several things at a time since
UPS does have a minimum shipping charge and several
items can go as cheaply as a single item.  I haven't
tried having things sent by mail and those charges may
be less (check with Mouser when ordering).  However,
UPS is overnight and the Post Office can take several
days getting things the 50 miles across the Metroplex.

the same day even if ordered very late in the day. 
Their website makes shopping easy, much easier than
DigiKey's, for one, tho' D-K gives good service too.
