HI re the dipole ant thing.
My B&W catalogue shows the dipole antenna connectors in two
configurations,
The first is Model AC-1 consisting of a cylindrical insulator with a
SO-239 connector on the bottom, eye bolts on each side with
leads to connect to the dipole wires. Thre is an eye bolt at the top to
support an inverted V antenna.
The second is the Model AC-51 (formerly CC-51) this is made of cast
aluminum sections with ceramic insulators for the ant leads, this is in
the shape of your "cobra head" and has a co-ax connector on the bottom as
the previous one.
Also has the eye bolt at the top.
B&W price list of May '87 quotes the first at $8.25, the
second -
Military (ask for price)!!
I have the remnants of a local dipole mfr and am selling a copy of item
one NOS
at $12.50 PP. Just a few left, These are NOT a balun, just straight
thru.
