What are you planning on using it for?

Some Radio Shack 300 ohm twin lead has 18 gauge wires
while others have 22, 24, and 26 gauge wires. Over
the years I have seen all 4.

If you were planning on running 120 VAC through the
twin lead then the answer is zero! Nothing smaller
than 14 gauge is approved by NFPA NEC (National
Electrical Code). However, using it for r.f. then the
18 gauge can handle at least 8 to 10 amps and the 26
gauge about half of that.
