Good Grief - please don't skimp on safety - someone could get killed or you

Bill,
Gosh Bill, I was going to hold the center of my 40 meter inverted vee up with
a Rohn 40 ft push-up mast. I thought going to a guyed Heights aluminum tower
would be an improvement! Well, OK, I'll start getting quotes for Rohn SSV.
Anyway, kidding aside, I regret using the phrase "on the cheap" in my
posting. Some of you interpreted that as meaning my intention was to put up an
unsafe installation. No way. But I am trying to gather the necessary materials
for a small tower to support wire antennas without pouring several yards of
concrete, buying a heavy duty tower and having it professionally installed, etc.
I don't want a 40 mtr inverted vee enough to spend thousands of bux making it
happen.
