[Boatanchors] Prices: was Collins receiver distortion

A couple of years ago, while having an SX-100 fit, I saw a really nice 
one - perfect front panel, too glossy repaint on cabinet - at an Atlanta 
area hamfest.  I asked, "How much?" He replied, "$200". Then, "Does it 
work?"  Insulted, the guy put his head down on the side of his truck and 
said, "It's going to be that kind of day!"

In his defense, there was a card on top of the receiver which may have 
said, "$200, works great!", but it had been flipped by the wind and was 
blank side up.

Annoyed, I replied, "You're asking less than market and I think it's a 
fair question.  If that offends you then you can go (insert unlikely 
autoerotic activity here)." And walked away.

This was just before the SX-100 went for $1100 on ebay.
