I actually started something along these lines several years ago, but
for cataloging old radios and such for estate purposes. Someone else
claimed they had such a program so I backed off to let them go
forward, but never saw anything more. Maybe a good time to get it
rolling again......

As far as tube or parts inventories, I suspect there are many programs
already available that would let you accomplish this without a lot of
work, as John says.

My biggest problem with tubes lies in getting them sorted, tested, and
properly stored....when you have a large number of tubes.....
well....you get the idea.
