Well Duane, I currently am 'on the air' and listen in on the East
Coast gang most nights and weekends I'm around. I just don't talk
because I'm busy with other things and lack the time (which is why I
need to catch up with email during the day). Never can have enough
wire in the air, though. In fact, I picked up more wire for a new
antenna at the Orlando Hamcation in February when I was visiting a YL
friend in Tampa. Got to meet Bill Howard and see his museum while
there. Never saw so many radios in one place before.

I do in fact know a redhead in Merced, I asked Phil about her some
years ago but he wasn't familiar with her family. Also know one up in
Vancouver WA. who some of the guys from the R-390 list got to meet
when I was out there a while back. She's now the proud owner of a nice
SX-42 and R-42 speaker as a result of my influence. *cackle*

Hopefully this sheds some light on the matter of my time on the air.  (o:
