Hmm..
Working from memory, I believe they got into small computer stuff back in
the days of CPM, 8080, and Z80. They had big ads in 73 Magazine and the
computer spin-off magazines like 80 Micro. But, something happened and they
started keeping the money and not shipping the gear or something like that.
If anyone has a stash of old Wayne Green pubs, the whole story might be in
there..

For no particular reason, Trigger Electronics rose to the surface of my
mind. They were a ham outfit in Chicago in the 60's, selling new and used
equipment. I recall seeing advertisements from them in QST and CQ.
Apparently they were legit for many years until something changed and they
went down in flames with acqusations of theft and fraud. I never heard the
whole story.
