Just my 2cents.

Mine old SP drifts less than 500 cycles from cold to hot.  Mostly within the
first five min.  The sensitivity is as good as any radio but the noise is
higher, you can do a couple of tube change outs in the first RF and that
will fix that problem.

Best receiver bar none, you only need some good antennas to fill all of the
bands full of signals.

This radio will pick up Europe SW on a one foot piece of wire.
