Joe & Group,

I knew someone would come up with one. Most of these QTH.net groups are full
of helpful people.

FWIW, Stackpole and Ohmite still make 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Watt carbon comp
resistors. Ohmite apparently quit making the 2 Watt a couple of years ago. Their
ceramic OX/OY series (mentioned previously in this thread) is available. I
bought a sample last week. Their appearance is similar (color bands, for example)
but not quite identical. The ends are slightly larger in diameter than the
middle and the overall color is a light green. However, someone used to make
resistors with a green body color so they would probably pass, especially if
you MFP them. :-)

In addition to the list of vendors someone gave yesterday, Allied is also a
distributor. Stackpole minimum quantities per value are too high but Allied
will supply quantities down to one per value of the Ohmite resistors (both
carbon comp 1/2 and 1 Watt and ceramic 2 Watt), subject only to their $25 per order
minimum.
