Jim, I would think you are out of luck. Be very careful with applying, 
aluminum has a low melting point and you will also lose the temper 
making the antenna weaker. My guess is it is 6061-T6.

Kind of looks like time to replace the material or upgrade to a newer 
and probably more efficient antenna.

I know that is not what you wanted to hear.
