Fw: [Boatanchors] know code / no code debate

I have been a ham for 57 years and still like to use an oatmeal box 
as  coil form and razor blade and pencil lead as a detector for local AM 
stations.  This is of couse the old WW2 fox hole radio made famous during 
WW2 in Europe.
