Had the equivalent Lafayette 10-in-1 MultiPurpose kit. 35Z5, 35L6 & 12SF5
if I remember right.

My buddy a block away also had one. We constructed the photo-cel relay, bcb
radio and more. We ended up building the am transmitter and operating it on
bcb under section 15, like it said we could. We played ham for a couple of
years, building screen faraday cages around the transmitter to "contain
spurious radiation".

We used to listen to harmonics, the transmitter was rich in them initially,
with our shortwave radios (S-38E for me).

Biggest shock came when listening one night to a harmonic in a ham band, my
buddy heard a real ham call me using the pirated calls we constructed.

Needless to say we got a whole lot more careful to keep harmonics out of ham
bands, and cleaned up harmonics also after that.
