they'd be fun to have!

Sitting here in North Myrtle Beach drinking still yet again another very very
cold beer after going through a lot of stuff I just moved down from Virginia.
Stuff that has followed me around for years.  One item I ran across was the
instruction manual from a Progressive Radio "Edu-Kit", which I bought as a kid
about 1955 or 56.  Unfortunately, the manual is the only thing from the kit
that managed to stay with me.  The "Edu-Kit" took you through building
several different receivers, a code oscillator, BCB xmtr, etc.  Used a couple
of pentodes, a triode, selenium rectifier.  Anyone else here ever have one of
these?
