Be there! Saturday July 9th for the Hallicrafters Collectors International 40
meter Net. Propagation permitting, some super cool stuff will be announced that
could be in your Shack for Halloween October 31st. It will be a real treat, no
tricks here!

The pre-Net will commence at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC). So drift on in early,
bring a friend and let's play some propagation hop, skip and yuck!

The Net proper will start at 1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC). Then my fellow devotees of
those wonders that still go glow in the dark, be sure your station ground rod is
well planted and the spring tension of your earphones headband a little lax, as
what you hear may rattle a little earwax loose!

But first, the frequency is 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
that NCS in a Nebraska corn field with his beam aimed
at Michigan, splattering 5KHZ either side of his corncrib and wondering why he
can't hear those guys checking into the Nebraska Net that everyone else in the
state can! No matter, we shall just ear the best we can.

I will be announcing some soon to be available on DVD and CD and in hard copy
radio lore galore, photos never seen before anywhere, voices of famous Hams and
people you can hear just as they sounded on the air fifty to seventy years ago
and in some cases twenty-two years, audio reproductions of original lectures
given at the 1981 QCWA awards presentation - the 1983 Dayton Hamvention - live
radio transmissions from 1935 as well as other historic radio events broadcast
live and more, Bill Halligan's actual acceptance speech when he was inducted
into the QCWA Hall Of Fame, Russian fighter pilots speaking in Russian as they
shot down an unarmed American aircraft in 1958, audio and printed transcripts of
never before released live interviews with Bill Halligan, Sr., live 45 minutes
of video of Bill Halligan, Sr. talking openly about his life and the story of
radio with his close friend Dr. Max De Henseler, HB9RS the United Nations
ambassador from Switzerland and a whole lot more coming to your Ham Shack, SW
Listening Post or radio museum. These video and audio recordings are one of a
kind, as well as all about radio and how it changed our lives forever and
focuses on every imaginable facet of the topic transcending Hallicrafters and
thereby apealing to all fans of short-wave and Ham radio. Simply put, there is
only one copy of most of the original video and audio recordings, and I have
them! This collection is like nothing else anyone has ever released before, and
may never release again! We hit the mother lode with this one my friends and it
is my mission, my desire and my sincere intent to share it with all radio fans
everywhere.

Details will be sent to interested parties who request them by phone or on the
air or by e-mail or by regular postal mail. The first one hundred of the DVD
video sold and first 100 sold of each CD released will be documented,
authenticated and numbered so as to preserve their value as a collector's item!
The DVD will be priced at $25 plus postage and the CD's at $15 plus postage.

Advance orders will be accepted, but only those orders including payment in full
will be authenticated as being among the first 100!

I hope to hear many of you Saturday, so be there and let's have a blast of
propagation and make those low hanging clouds from Dennis The Menace look like
cheap Swiss cheese with extra holes! Hear ya later!
