[Boatanchors] Join Saturday 40M HCI Net

If you own, use or have an interest in vintage gear, come on in!	
	
Join the HCI 40 meter Net on Saturday January 8th. The pre-Net will commence at
12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC) and the Net proper at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC) The
frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
persnickety propagation punctuated by periodic bought/sold prevarication
satires, pompous pandering of prestigious wire stripping clinics, flawed factual
enlightenment on proper station grounding and primordial plodding onto an
occupied frequency by survivors of the Dinosaur era with all the grace of a
Hippopotamus wearing a Tutu and performing ballet to the Classical music of the
"Bun Buster Suite".   	
	
So shape up a snowball and give it a fling, then rush to the clinic with your
arm in a sling! Old age can be cruel to vintage gear, as well as your aging
body, but at least you can buy spare parts to rebuild an electronic chassis!
Rather than risk needless pain, suffering and your wife harping at you for the
next week about those 'honey do's' that did not get done due to your foolishness
with that snowball, get a cup of hot chocolate and join us on the air. It might
not be quite as much sheer delight as delivering a tightly packed ball of snow
between the eyeballs of the neighborhood bully who keeps putting Piranha in your
birdbath, or depositing one in that barking abyss with legs and a stub of a tail
somebody whacked off with a meat cleaver who keeps turning the white walls on
your tires yellow, but it does keep you from tasting your county's cuisine while
you await a bail hearing!      	
	
I hope to hear many of you tomorrow, so be there and let's light up those
wonders that still go glow in the darkness without Radium paint!
