[Boatanchors] Astatic ??D104??

To All:

I've acquired an Astatic D104 with an unamplified stand UG8. The wish is,
the element is  hi-Z crystal or ceramic. Ok, how do I tell the difference?
The element has markings, 9-75 and Astatic 320. I'll take a guess 9-75 means
9th month of 1975 and Astatic 320 is THE clue as to the type of element. Can
anyone solve the mystery.

There is a diagram on the inside of the base showing a 4 conductor cable,
the unit now has a three wire cable and looks like an impedance matching
transformer. If the element is a hi-Z, I'll use it for my boatanchor,Viking
500.
