[Boatanchors] Busted SX-28A Steering Wheel Shaft

Well, there I was..... finishing the last capacitor on the Invader 2K, when
the 8 year old comes into the shack with the ubiquitous "Daddy, can I play
with your radios".  As always, the answer is "Yes".

Well, he comes over a few minutes later with the steer wheel knob for the
main tuning off of the SX-28A.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!

Well, I go out of my way to make sure he knows he's not in trouble,  and I
think he'll be back down for some more quality radio playtime....

My SX-28 stuff is still in boxes from the move to the new shack, so I can't
dig up the manual for a parts list....

Is that shaft busted?  It's obviously threaded, but it won't screw in (the
hole looks enlarged).
