Thanks to Vic and Don and many others who have helped me
on this homebrew KW AM transmitter rebuilding project.

I discovered that a short coax jumper between exciter and
PA was bad.  Replacing that, I have lots of grid drive.

I have the day off so I spent some time this morning 
neutralizing.  And I then had a short QSO on 40 meters!

My meter says 200+ watts of carrier. 

This afternoon I am working on rebuilding my 80 mtr HDVL coil 
assembly.  Half of the coil looks like it got stepped on.
I'm hoping to get it working on 3880 & 3885 soon.
I have some audio cleanup to do and still that relay in the
bias supply doesn't cooperate.  But I am really happy!

Later I will be looking to add a vfo, better T/R switching,
front panel labeling, maybe some audio compression, etc. etc.
