[Boatanchors] Highlighting methods for a re-engraved nameplate for the BC-221

Use a lacquer stick. You wipe it across the engraving
making sure that the paint gets down into the grooves.
Then wipe it off with a soft cloth. You may have to
put some "elbow grease" into the wiping, but the
lacquer stick paint will remain in the grooves and
last for a long time.

Various colors are available and the sticks are pretty
inexpensive. I believe that they are available from
Antique Radio Supply among other sources.

I've finally gotten the black plastic nameplate
re-groved (on the backside of the original), and now
need to enhance it's readability by painting the
letter groves with a permanent white paint. I would
appreciate receiving knowledgeable suggestions as to
the best method to accomplish this.
