[Boatanchors] Highlighting methods for a re-engraved nameplate for the BC-221

I've finally gotten the black plastic nameplate re-groved (on 
the backside of the original), and now need to enhance it's 
readability by painting  the letter groves with a permanent 
white paint.   
I would appreciate receiving knowledgeable suggestions as to
the best method to accomplish this.   I know my hands would
not be stable enough to accomplish the job, but I would like
to have some suggestions as to the best way  to do it.    
If someone in the one of the Boatanchor groups has experience 
or knowledge about successful attempts on highlighting the 
lettering, I would appreciate your passing the information on
to me as to how it was accomplished.   It would be well, also,
to know ways  not  recommended to be attempted.
