Hi All,
I am totally blind. i have a MFJ 812B meter. I was told it measures both forward
power, either on a 30 or 300 watt scale, as well as reflected power. No peak
reading.
There is a calibration knob. i am guessing that it is set to "30" for the thirty
watt power limit and the "300" for the three hundred watt reading?
There is a button that is marked "forward" and also "reflected" When I push it
in, which do I have? Is it the 'forward' or the 'reflected' power reading?
Beside it is another button. It is marked to read the standing wave, but there
is also some other function like "rs power"? What is that?
How do I set this up to read SWR? Where is the calibration knob set to? Is the
power button left out or pressed in? What do I do with this other button, leave
it out or pursh it in?
Thank you.
No, I do not have the manual. I have to have somebody sighted, such as my
teenage grandson use the meter, but I must know how to instruct him properly
first.
