The "factory" external speakers for the A2516 are
pretty scarce.  However, any 8 ohm "hi fi" speaker
will work fine.

As for an octal plug, they are available from sources
like Mouser, Allied, etc.  Also, you can take a
"defunct" vacuum tube that has all eight pins present
and remove the glass envelope.  Amateur radio
operators have been doing this for decades.

I owned one of these back in the mid-1970s.  Let an
employee of mine have it.  For its day it was an "OK"
receiver.
