[Boatanchors] Variac low?

Hello Stephen,
What is the rating in VA or what is your VARIAC Fused for?
If the voltage output of your variac is 115 VAC with NO-LOAD, and drops to 90 VAC when Loaded, then I would suspect that you have a VARIAC that is of a Lower Rating than that required to support the  LOAD CURRENT.
