Please break out the snowmobile suits and join us on Saturday November 27th for
the Hallicrafters Collectors International 40 meter Net. Winter arrived almost a
month early from the normal solstice date the third week of December and he came
in with winds howling, blowing snow and an attitude! The Turkey's got quick
frozen in mid stride! It was "over the river and through the woods to
grandmother's house we go" all right, but not on a horse drawn sleigh, rather a
snowmobile with GPs and a hot coffee IV drip! It was so cold that the icicles
were wearing bun warmers!     	
	
Join me at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC) for the pre-Net portion where we all stretch
the truth about the fantastic bargains we got at yesterday's ham fest, like a
Tootsie Roll that got too warm in your Levis jeans front pocket and then got
stretched like the circus fat lady's elastic girdle when the two kids you gave
the gooey caramel to each tried to yank it out of the other ones mouth! 		
	
Hang ten with those frozen toes, for the actual Net at 1:00 PM EST, (1800 UTC).
Hopefully by then the two teenage boys I hired will have unburied the wire
antennas from beneath the snow in my Scotch Pine woods and not succumbed to
their hormonal urges to hurl snowballs with that cud of already been chewed
Double Bubble hidden in the center at some unsuspecting girls with bare heads
and long shining silky smooth hair making an irresistible target! 	
	
The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of husky deep throated rumbling snowblowers hurling those frosty flakes
through the air like an Olympic discus hurler flinging a frozen buttermilk
pancake from here to the dark side of the Moon! So hack your way into the old
Ham shack with your trusty ice pick, or melt the way using your daughter's heavy
duty industrial strength hair dryer, and join us for some Thanksgiving weekend
fun, fibs, facts and fellowship that you can not beat with an egg beater using a
Nitrous Oxide booster! I hope to hear you tomorrow above the flakes, natural and
