[Boatanchors] Ground rods

Easiest method is just move it all to South Louisiana. Our water table is
about 2 1/2 feet (dig a 3 foot hole for the base of a tower and next morning
have 6 inches of water). Good ground is everywhere and easy to tap into
with a ground rod - also no rocks, stones, etc, just good old alluvial soil.
One local has his contesting and DX ham shack set up on the flank of a
salt dome (the Anse La Butte dome, right off of I-10) I keep telling him
that his contesting record is so good because he has a lake of salt water
down a few feet from ground level.
