[Boatanchors] RME?

Hi Steve,
I have a similar box here to which I haddn't yet paid
attention. Chassis is stamped AE30. Insides look like a
preamp/preselector with two tuned circuits. Controls are
marked "ON-OFF" and "PEAKING." Kind of a latterday DB-22. I
couldn't find anything on it here. RME didn't advertise in
the post-war ARRL handbooks. Maybe someone could check the
"west coast" handbooks later than 11th edition.
Mine is all ceramic caps, except the filter, so I'd bet it
would work if I replaced the electrolytic and maybe the
selenium rectifier.
