I am reminded of the episide of "Mash" where they are defusing the bomb in 
the middle of the compound. "Cut red wire(snip) (turns page) after you cut 
the black wire (OH S##T).
I said pack the hole with conductive material AFTER putting the pipe down 
with water pressure. If done properly pipe should be tight in ground. 
Another thing, put hole down with 3/4" pipe, remove and drive in 1" or 
larger pipe in the hole. The main trick is to get the hole down in the first 
place.
