[Boatanchors] PRO-310 Drive Belts

I have received 10 emails to date expressing an interest in a set of 
new drive belts for the PRO-310.  If anyone else has an interest, 
please drop me a note -- I'm not asking for a firm commitment yet, 
just need to get some idea of quantity for the  manufacturer.

I received a sample of the 26" belt on Saturday, and have tested it 
thoroughly.  It is as close to the original as you could ask for, and 
works very well.  I will have the shorter bandspread drive belt 
sample this week.

I still do not have a good estimate of the final production cost.  The 
manufacturer is supposed to contact me on that after I have tested 
both sample belts.  I think he wants me to have the belts in hand 
before shocking me with the price :-)

Once I get the short belt, I'll update the website with the information 
on the belts and the restoration I've done of the main drive pulleys.   
I have the tuning mechanism working smoothly with no slippage at 
all.   A couple of you have asked if the new belts will themselves 
eliminate dial slippage.  The answer to that is no.
