HI Greg,
http://www.oselectronics.com/ose_p64.htm
This is a set of punches that will do the job on aluminum OK.
They are not up to the standard of Greenlee and won't last as long, but are
a whole lot cheaper.
I had this same set as kid in the sixties. The kit was sold by Lafayette
Radio at that time.
I built a ton of transmitters, converters and amplifiers with them.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Chassis punches - Conduit punches - tube sockets
Hi:
Can anyone recommend a source of punches to do octal, 9 and 7 pin miniature
tube sockets.
I know Greenlee has them but I really can't afford those.
Will a "Conduit Punch" do the same thing as long as the hole sizes are
correct?
The material I will be punching is typical chassis aluminum that we use in
our home brew stuff. Not steel.
Thanks
Greg
