[Boatanchors] SP400 question - Picture jump fixed

Hi:

I goofed the Sp400 BC 794 picture so here's the question and picture =
again.

I ID'd this radio as a SP 400 BC 794 (40 mhz) but cannot identify the =
crystal box bolted to the top of the tuning cap can.  Has three large =
crystal holders, 1 tube and two shaft controls that do not protrude thru =
the front panel.  Moreover, there is a crystal socket called Y2 located =
next to the bfo can at right rear.  All are factory done and do not show =
on any of the WWW references for this family of receivers Can some one =
fill me on on what's up here?
