[Boatanchors] Nc- 100asd vs Nc-100asc and speaker

Hi All

I bought recently bought what I thoght was a nc-100a
receiver like what I had as kid before my mother threw
it out. As it turns out it is a nc-100asd (or so I
thought "no broadcast band but has long wave = signal
corp, army?) I was very luckly to buy an original
manual for the nc100asd (from fair radio - thanks)
That manual inclueded changes for the nc-100asc
(navy?) that basicly said the audio output goes to a
5000/ 5000 ohm transformer for the pm speaker (asc) vs
5000/500 ohm (asd) There were changes in the resisters
for the head phones as well. AS it turns out I have a
restorable NC-100asc I am also looking for  a natioal
speaker to fit a late thirties to early fourties
receiver (nc-100, nc-100a
nc-100asd etc)
