I will be on the air Saturday June 12th about 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC) if any
Hallicrafters, or other vintage vacuum gear fans, would care to stop by and chew
on a tube for a while. The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks,
mike splatter and the sound of those VHF'ers trying to work tropo skip in an
adjacent county. So that slight hum you may hear carried aloft by the winds of
time won't be ten zillion Grasshoppers tuning up their humming skills to plunder
a wheat field, or Jimminy Cricket and tens of thousands of his cousins tuning up
their legs like a blue grass pickers fiddle, just those VHF'ers making their
electrical power meters spin as they hurl thousands of watts at the atmosphere
in an effort to punch a path through the radiation resistant clouds so they can
work their buddy without a repeater or Echo Link! Looking on the bright side, on
1296, if the skip stinks they can always roast a Ball Park Frank!

So if the spirit moves you tomorrow, or your XYL threatens to toss your lazy
buns out in the trash with the others that grew that fuzzy green fungus, warm up
that Halli and join me for some good to the last fib vintage fun and fellowship.

I hope to hear you tomorrow!
