Did you stop after the first page of the index?

I believe the fundamental articles of his are "What's Wrong With Our 
Present Receivers?" in Jan 1957 QST and a companion article about AVC in 
the same issue.  There's also "A New Receiver Tuning Principle" in Mar 
1958 QST, "Who's Afraid of a Receiver" in May 1957 QST, The "Simple X 
Super" construction article in Dec 1958 QST, and a product review of the 
Squires Sanders SS-1R in May 1964 QST.  And lots of older stuff.
