Try going to the HCI web site, click on the 'search archive' area, and look this
up. There have been several extensive discussions on this topic the past twelve
to eighteen months. Archieve material is generally retained for thirty months
before the old is pushed off and the new replaces it.

This has been on several lists, so try:

	Hallicrafters
Boat Anchors
Heathkit
Hammarlund

You will find a wealth of information this way. Good luck -

Hi to the list.

I have an SX-100 that I am restoring that has a particularily grimey
chassis. It's not just your normal 50 year accumulation of dust, but seems
kind of
oily. Any suggestions as to what I should use to clean it? The SX-100 has
more than the usual numbers of nooks and crannies and I don't really want to
disassemble things too far. I have removed the front panel and the dials.

Thanks,
Ron
