[Boatanchors] Chassis cleaning

Hi to the list.
 
I have an SX-100 that I am restoring that has a particularily grimey  
chassis.  It's not just your normal 50 year accumulation of dust, but seems  kind of 
oily.  Any suggestions as to what I should use to clean it?   The SX-100 has 
more than the usual numbers of nooks and crannies and I don't  really want to 
disassemble things too far.  I have removed the front panel  and the dials.
