that's good to hear.

I remember seeing a Sixer and a Two-er. Pardon my ignorance, but which
modes are most popular on 6 and up? FM?

I've been listening with my (non-BA)VHF/UHF scanners and FM seems more
prevalent (although I can't get anything on 6M in any mode).

I'm listening to an SX-140-X now :)

did the nuvistors get too hot to handle after a few minutes? I'd hate
to spoil that experience :)

Understood (I have an S120).
I realize allocations have changed, but how high do BA's go? I'm
looking to do 2m, 70cm, and up for now. Techs can't xmit below 6m.
Would prefer an xcvr but I don't know what's out there.

excellent.

will do, thanks.

Thanks Phil!
