[Boatanchors] FS: Collins 51S-1 Receiver

Hi folks,
    My local club, New Bern ARC, is selling this 51S-1 for the widow of a
local ham.  It's a "Round Emblem", s/n 5221.  I have been thru it quite
well last month, and have been using it some in the meantime.  It is in
good operating and cosmetic condition.  I did replace several tubes and
did other minor work, as I've detailed on the website where you can see
pix & other info on it.  It is in nice condition, as can be seen, the only
blemish of note (to me) is that there may have been a tag affixed with
adhesive to the top left of the panel at one time.  I think the dry-brush
technique with the proper shade of gray would make it nearly invisible, as
the panel is not smooth/shiny, but "marbled" if that's the word - not
wrinkled, but pebbly.
    The price is $1500 plus shipping, incl. good manual copy.
