[Boatanchors] Rare Sunday HCI 20 Meter Net Today

As always, all flavors and cents of vintage gear are welcome - (If it is not
vacuum, feel free to fake it!) 	
	
Please join us on Sunday February 15th for the Hallicrafters Collectors
International 20 meter Net. This is a leap year and this February there are five
Sundays in the month. This won't happen again until? The pre-Net will commence
at 12:45 pm EST, (1745 UTC) and the Net proper starts at 1:15 PM EST, (1815
UTC). I will be on air at 12:15 PM EST, (1715 UTC) loading up the antennas with
super heated electronsin an effort to de-ice them. You know it is COLD when the
weather dude refers to a high of zero as being a warming trend!	
	
The frequency will be 14.293 MHz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of high powered race cars screaming by, cheering females with shrill
voices rising above the whine of the super charged engines and some guy drowning
it all out with his tempting pitch to put some mustard on your buns! I must
confess it is the sound of the Daytona 500 in my background coming to me live
via the FM wireless contraption I have connected with alligator clips to the DSS
satellite receiver at the other end of the house broadcasting the signal direct
through the bathroom walls into the Ham Shack. I can almost smell that high
octane fule making my nose hairs turn gray and fall out now.  	
	
So tune in later today for the HCI Net and bring a political rumor to share, a
gassy tube to pass, some facts to flaunt, bail money for Frogzilla who got
caught video taping Jane Fonda through the bathroom door keyhole for his new
reality show on Comcast entitled "What Hanoi Jane Can't Hide With A tummy Tuck!"
Despite an effort by Comcast to do a hostile swamp take over, the Disney
characters have rallied behind Frogzilla brandishing cable cutters!
