I didn't keep the original post, but I think I got this on the correct
reflector.

What I (and others) use on our guitars are some "non-oily" polishes made
especially for wooden musical instruments.  My particular favorite is
"Fender Guitar Polish" and is safe to use on any wooden instruments, some of
which have rather esoteric and very expensive finishes.  It does have a
light odor but seems to dissipate fairly quickly.  Not cheap, a 4 oz "pump"
spray bottle will run you about six dollars at most music stores.
